Browning® Shear Pin Hubs
Features & Benefits
- Helps prevent damage to machinery due to sudden overload by shearing a necked pin at the predetermined load
- Sprocket rotates freely after pin breakage, allowing the drive to idle
- Clean, modular design - one unit for direct drive, chain drive, or other power transmission options
- Universal mounting
- Single position
- Reversibility
- Repeatability

|
Browning® Torque Limiters
Features & Benefits
- Helps prevent machine and product damage caused by shock loads, overloads or machine jams
- Adjustable spring pressure determines overload setting and reengages drive when overload condition subsides
- Compact, friction-type unit resets to any position
- Slips under excessive load
- Reversible
- Non asbestos pads
- No need to reset

|
Browning® Torq/Pro®
Features & Benefits
- Overload protection for machinery with increased accuracy
- The adjustable spring pressure transmits torque through a ball-in-detent arrangement, so when the device is tripped it automatically resets by rotating the driving member
- One position type allows only one engagement position
- Accuracy of trip torque within ±10%, even with repeated tripping the precision remains within ±10%
- Easy torque setting and adjusting by tightening or loosening the adjusting nuts (bolts), the desired torque can be easily set
- Visual torque meter and indicator can confirm the setting torque

Browning® Torq/Pro® X (TPX)
Features & Benefits
- Provides drive disengagement when overload occurs and also includes features such as backlash prevention and high rigidity
- High precision torque overload device designed to satisfy the demand for higher levels of precision and functionality in machines and systems performing positioning and indexing operations
- Innovative ball and pocket design nearly eliminates backlash
- Non-symmetrical internal pocket location provides 1 position reset
- Adjust trip torque by simply turning the adjustment nut
- Torque setting can be easily verified by checking the torque scale and indicator

|
Browning® Torq/Pro® Z (TPZ)
Features & Benefits
- Overload protection for machinery
- Attaches directly to the motor or high-speed revolving shaft, and allows the input side to continue revolving freely after tripping
- Resets manually
- Release type design enables input side to revolve freely after overload occurs
- It can be used as a mechanical ON-OFF clutch for starting and stopping shaft rotation
- Unit offers easy torque adjustment by simply turning the adjustment nut
- Comes with an easy-to-read torque scale

Browning® Torq/Gard®
Features & Benefits
- Help protect the entire drive train of your machinery from damage due to excessive torque generated by overloads and jamming
- Instant reaction and automatic reset by “jogging” the machine provides unsurpassed protection and minimizes down-time
- Disengages at the pre-set torque limit
- Precise overload protection with an elegant yet rugged cam-in-detent system
- Detector plates, coupling options and other accessories enhance design flexibility
- Sealed for Life Gasket and O-ring sealed body, packed with high-performance, moisture resistant, lithium based grease for outdoor and wash-down application
- International-Orange Finish is a durable bright orange enamel finish for high visibility and easy identification of rotating components

Browning Axial Gard
Features & Benefits
- Linear overload device designed to help protect machinery from damage due to unexpected stopping in axial direction
- Repeatable tripping accuracy (+-15%) after many trips
- Trip load is easily set by rotating the adjustment screw in either direction and will always reset
- Release type: Axial Gard trips immediately after overload occurs and cuts off axial load from the drive shaft to the driven shaft. The unit can then easily be reset allowing the machine to quickly recover.
