Auburn Bearing & Manufacturing
Created in 1898, Auburn Bearing & Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of thrust bearings with a history of more than 100 years in producing thrust bearings. Auburn offers an exclusive range of high quality thrust bearings for a variety of applications at competitive prices. With this extensive history, Auburn often incorporates new principles for manufacturing thrust bearings.
Auburn introduced an exclusive range of thrust bearings, specially designed to reduce rolling friction. As compared to the usual round groove ball track, Auburn manufactures bearings with a ‘V’ groove raceway. This helps in even distribution of load over the balls as they move on four points of contact, creating a straight line rolling effect, decreasing friction. This ‘V’ groove design by Auburn helps carry of 25% more radial load than their thrust load capacity.
Auburn offers both open style and enclosed style self-contained ball bearings. The balls in the Auburn ball bearing are retained between two hardened steel races. Auburn bearing offers a longer life, cooler running, and a greater load-bearing capability.
Auburn Bearing & Manufacturing maintains its manufacturing and distribution center in Victor, New York.
