NSK bearings, sold & sourced by Dalton Bearing Service
Dalton Bearing Service supplies NSK ball bearings, roller bearings and linear guides & ball screws from our counter at 601 S Glenwood Ave in Dalton, Georgia, and we ship them wherever your plant is. Send us a part number, a photo of the nameplate, or a description, and a real person will track it down and get you a price.
NSK is one of the oldest and largest bearing makers in the world. On the industrial side that means deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, cylindrical, tapered and spherical roller bearings, mounted units, and precision linear motion parts such as linear guides and ball screws for machine tools and automation. If you are matching an existing NSK number, bring us the full suffix (seals, clearance, cage) and we will quote the same part rather than something close.
On May 12, 2026 NSK and NTN signed a memorandum of understanding to combine their businesses under a new joint holding company. Under the plan both companies would become wholly owned subsidiaries of that holding company, which is scheduled to be formed and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in October 2027. It still needs a definitive agreement, shareholder votes and antitrust approvals, and the holding company has not been named. For now NSK and NTN are separate companies, no change to either brand name has been announced, and nothing changes about how we quote and ship NSK parts.
We also supply RHP, the British line NSK has owned since 1990, and NTN, Koyo, Nachi and IKO when you need a cross-reference. Keeping a line down for a part costs more than the part. Tell us what you are replacing and how soon you need it. If the exact NSK number is on backorder, we will tell you up front and offer an equivalent.
NSK ownership & history
NSK, short for Nippon Seiko, was established in Tokyo in 1916 and made Japan's first domestically produced rolling bearings that year. It grew into a global maker of bearings, linear motion products and automotive components, and opened its first U.S. operation in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1973.
In 1990 NSK bought United Precision Industries, the parent of the British bearing maker RHP. The UK business ran as NSK-RHP until 2000, and the RHP name lives on today, mainly on mounted units.
In May 2026 NSK and its long-time Japanese rival NTN agreed in principle to combine under a joint holding company, planned for October 2027. That deal is not final. It still needs a definitive agreement, shareholder approval and regulatory clearance.

Why buy NSK bearings from Dalton Bearing
Dalton Bearing Service has kept plants running from Dalton, Georgia since 1946. We are an independent industrial distributor, not the manufacturer — which means we can quote NSK bearings straight from stock or our supplier network and, when a number is backordered or discontinued, offer a checked cross-reference — often from FAG, NTN or IKO. Send a part number, a photo of the nameplate, or just the dimensions, and a real person gets back to you with price and availability, usually the same day.
Need something besides NSK? We source mounted bearings, plain bearings, speed reducers, couplings, chain drives, belt drives and more across 160 manufacturer lines — browse every brand or send us your whole list and we will quote it in one go.
